Delete notifications

We did some push notifications to test them and now we can't delete them. They have content we don't want the users to see so we find it useful to have the option to delete those notifications you don't want to keep or those with spelling mistakes or wrong information.
As we use the program for events, we'd also like an easier way o send push notifications. like a message platform inside the app for admins.
Thanks!!

Any updates on this? I agree having the ability to delete old notifications is a must!

I dont see an answer to this, so any guidance would be great. We are about to push out our company app and I pushed a test notification to the handful of folks who have downloaded the app. They received the notification, but now are not able to remove the notification. Users that have an iPhone, for example, have the #1 next to the app indicating they have a notification. How do they remove that?

In future you could just send the test push notification to a segmented audience. So Just send it to user A and B (iOS and Android device)
That way, they should only be visible by the accounts whom were in said audience.
Thats how I would do it anyway.

Any new updates to the Notifications Deletion request? Just curious if it is already implemented.

I AGREE!!! THIS WAS GOING TO BE MY FEATURE REQUEST SUBMISSION, BUT YOU HAVE ALREADY HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!!! We definitely need a delete OR a hide button option for notification sent so that it does not show in the history section especially when we are just trying to test out our new app.

Hey Claudia!
Thanks for the suggestion! Our dev team is always on the lookout for new features and functionality to add to our system. We’ll keep an eye on this, and the more support it gets the higher chance it will have of being implemented.
Have a great rest of your day!

Austin Blair: seriously! Need this bad! I wanted to use push notifications for promotions. I don’t want users to see past promotions then just hold off on buying to see if I’ll repeat a past promotion they liked. Imagine if someone went to your pricing page and could see all the prices you had in the past. People might feel like they’re not getting a good deal or they missed out and not move forward.

Austin Blair: Hey there! Just checking in to see if there has been an update to this? Still need to delete (or hide) the "test" notification that went out.....

I like this idea - As we use the program for events, we'd also like an easier way o send push notifications. like a message platform inside the app for admins.
As for your first point, why is it an issue if people can see former push notifications in the history? In the terms of spelling mistakes or wrong information then you just need to better execute this on your end and make no mistakes.
The first idea is a good one though, my clients can then send them on the go easier.

Same issue here with the deleting notifications issue. And a message platform would be great.

Adam Stamper: Hi Adam, Have you checked out our Premium Social Inbox plugin? It works in tandem with Premium Social Wall and acts as an extension to provide "Facebook Messenger" like functionality.
Have a great day!
